Andreas Beerli is a post-doctoral researcher at the ETH Zürich, KOF Swiss Economic Institute. He received his PhD from the University of Zürich.

Stefan Bender visited CReAM from 23rd - 25th October 2012.

He is the Head of the Research Data Centre (FDZ) of the German Federal Employment Agency at the Institute for Employment Research in Nuremberg.  He got his degree in sociology and statistics from the University of Mannheim. From 1990 he was a researcher at the University Mannheim, before joining the IAB as a researcher in 1992. He has been Head of the Research Data Centre of the Federal Employment Agency since 2005.  His research focuses on the possibilities for merging process and/or survey data; the anonymisation of establishment data; further training; as well as the cohort effects and effects on establishments of active labour market policy.

Henry Farber

Henry Farber is the Hughes-Rogers Professor of Economics and an Associate of the Industrial Relations Section at Princeton University. Professor Farber graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University, and Princeton University. In addition to his faculty position at Princeton, Farber is a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a Research Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). He is also a Fellow of the Econometric Society, the Society of Labor Economists, and the Labor and Employment Relations Association.  Farber's current research interests include unemployment, liquidity constraints and labor supply, labor unions, worker mobility, wage dynamics, and analysis of the litigation process.

Krista is a PhD candidate in economics at Aalto University.

Her current areas of interests are empirical labour economics and applied microeconomics with focus on topics such as health outcomes of policy changes. In her current project she studies the effect of smoking bans on birth outcomes. She is also working with a project examining the effect of parental job loss on children’s health and cognitive and non-cognitive skills over the life cycle. Before starting her Ph.D, Yujung received a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in mathematics from Yonsei University (South Korea) in 2012.
